Privacy Policy
How 3dprintedsolutionsnl collects, uses, protects and shares personal information when you browse, contact us or place an order.
Who controls your information
Last updated: 30 August 2026. For the processing described in this policy, 3dprintedsolutionsnl acts as the merchant and, where applicable, the data controller. Our store is operated using Shopify's commerce platform.
Privacy questions and rights requests can be submitted through our Contact page. Where legally required, additional business identification and contact information is provided through the store's company/contact information.
Personal information we process
Depending on how you interact with the store, we may process contact and delivery details; order and transaction information; account information; communications with us; product/configuration requests; device, browser and IP information; site interaction data; and preference or consent information.
Payment credentials are generally processed by Shopify and the relevant payment providers. We do not need to receive complete payment-card details to fulfil a normal Shopify order.
Where information comes from
Information can come directly from you, automatically from your browser or device when you use the store, from Shopify, and from service providers involved in payments, fraud prevention, hosting, analytics, support, fulfilment or shipping where those services are used.
Why we use personal information
We use personal information to operate the store; process and deliver orders; manage returns and warranty requests; provide customer support; prevent fraud and secure the store; comply with tax, accounting and legal obligations; improve our services; and send marketing or use optional advertising technologies where permitted.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR or similar law applies, processing may be based on performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, our legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights, or your consent where consent is required.
You can withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the legal basis. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Shopify, service providers & disclosures
We may disclose personal information to Shopify and providers that help operate the store, such as payment, hosting, fraud-prevention, customer-support, fulfilment, shipping and analytics providers where enabled. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate business transaction subject to applicable safeguards.
Shopify processes information in connection with the commerce services it provides. Shopify may also process certain information for its own purposes as described in its own privacy documentation.
Cookies, analytics & advertising
The store can use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for core functions such as checkout, security and preferences. Optional analytics, personalisation or advertising technologies may also be used where enabled and permitted. Where consent is legally required, available storefront consent controls can be used to manage optional technologies.
Depending on your location, additional advertising or data-sharing opt-out rights may apply. Visit Privacy Choices for available controls.
International transfers
Shopify and other providers can process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where European data-transfer rules apply, transfers outside the EEA are handled using an applicable legal transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards, where required.
Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including order fulfilment, warranty/support, legitimate recordkeeping, dispute resolution, security and compliance with tax, accounting or other legal obligations. Different categories of information can have different retention periods.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, rights can include access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent and rights concerning certain automated decisions. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Where the GDPR applies, we normally respond to a valid rights request within the legally required period and may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority, including the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens where it is the competent authority.
Open Privacy Choices →Security, children & changes
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to the store and the information processed, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
The store is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children who cannot lawfully use the service or provide relevant consent in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided information improperly, contact us.
We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. The current version and update date will be published here.
