Material selection depends on how a part will be used. We can help you balance stiffness, impact resistance, heat exposure, flexibility, surface appearance and environmental conditions.
Typical material directions
PLA-family materials are a strong choice for clean indoor parts, prototypes, display pieces and many everyday accessories. PETG-family materials can be useful where additional toughness and moisture resistance are wanted. ASA and other engineering materials can be considered for demanding applications when the design and production requirements support them. Flexible materials can be used for selected grips, protectors and compliant parts.
Actual material, colour and finish availability can vary. For custom work, we confirm the suitable production route before your project is accepted.
Finish and appearance
FDM parts naturally show layer lines. Depending on the project, orientation, layer height, wall construction and post-processing can be selected to improve appearance or function. Dimensions and visible surfaces should be discussed for fit-critical parts.
